Help Finding A Good Lcd Hdtv?
I am looking for a LCD HDTV and I need help finding the right brand.
Well what I want it to have is 42″ LCD Screen and I’m hoping that its less than $1000.00 because I do have to buy external speakers and a stand for the TV. So i want some good deals on a good brand.
Some brands that i have been looking at on tigerdirect.ca, bestbuy.ca, ..etc is Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp & Sony and i have found some good deals but theres just too much to choose from!

At this price you should be aiming more towards the Samsung and Sharp Aquos. The Sony Bravia series may be a little bit over your budget but if you’re willing to pay more, it’s a quality TV.
Nonetheless, some Samsungs are better than Sony Bravias. These 2 are considered to be the top 2 LCD makers. If you’re looking for a plasma tv, then the Panasonic Viera series are worth looking at because they specialize in them.
If you’re looking for an even lower price tag, then the Sharp Aquos should the choice for you. Not only is the Aquos a top tier LCD series but they are considerably cheaper than Sony Bravias if not Samsungs. The Aquos is a high quality, low price selection.
In my opinion this should be the order you look at:
1: Samsung
2: Sony (if your budget allows then you can consider the Sony first)
3. Sharp
4. Panasonic
Some people will give me a low rating because I put Panasoic last, but I was answering thinking you are looking for LCDs. So as I’ve already mentioned, if you’re looking for a plasma, then definately look at Panasonic Vieras first because they are truly fabulous (the price… not so much but it’ll be worth it).
